CB Radio--A Complete Guide"CB Radio--A Complete Guide"
by Len Buckwalter
Tempo Books, 1976
The CB was to the 70's what the chatroom in to the 90's, so, following that line of logic,  I guess the computer geeks of today are just like the truckers of two decades ago. Bill Gates would now star in "Smokey and the Bandit" and Steve Jobs would be featured in "BJ and the Bear." It sends a convoy of shivers down my spine just thinking about it. CB Radio--The Complete Guide has everything a CB radio user could want. They have all the FCC rules and regs as well as the proper forms to fill out. They have all the technical aspects, including many wonderful hand-drawn diagrams of what an antenna looks like, or how to mount a CB unit to your dashboard. And last, but not least, they have a two very helpful glossaries, one a list of all the Ten Codes (10-4, good buddy), and a english-to-trucker and a trucker-to-english translation section. Are you up on your trucker lingo, take this simple test to find out.
