Bachelor Pad: How did the pin-up lighter come about?

Wife danced at this really boss GoGo bar, and I had the idea to put one
of the many photo's I had taken of her on a lighter and see if they would
sell. We figured out a process to apply the image, no easy task. The first
one that she sold, went for 50 bucks. As they say "The rest is History."
JBP: How are these things made?
CS: We use either Zippo or Ronson Brand flip top refillable
lighters. The customer has the choice. We print the images with a special
photo quality process, and each lighter is built by hand. No matter if
it's a one lighter order, or a 1000 lighter order, they all get the same
process and attention. Yes I'm being a little vague, but I can't fully
let the kat out of the bag...My wifey would shoot me, and throw my rigid
body on the train tracks !
JBP: If a gal wants to get some pin-up lighters for herself,
how does she do it?
CS: Easy, Easy...You can either ring us on the phone (757
407 4405), or drop us an email.
Email me the image you want to use, and I will make you a mock up image,
of how it will basically look on the lighter, and email it back for your
approval. If you order at least 20 Lighters, you will get the wholesale
price, and you can start selling them on your website, in stores and at
shows and events. A lot of the gals we do, have us add their website address
to each lighter making them a fantastic promo item. Guys go ape over sexy
kittens on lighters, trust me, I do...
JBP: What other designs do you offer?
CS: We love working with the Pinup, Hotrod and music folks.
We service lots of Chopper/Rod shops, Ink Slinging Tattoo Parlors and good
ol' Rock and Roll bands. We also have been working with lots of really
kool artist lately. The Lighters are super-hip for showcasing original
